Joint, Muscle and Tendon Pain
Through daily chores, work, DIY, sport or any manor of activity we can develop various aches and pains. These can range from minor muscle strains to sore knees to chronic tendon injuries such as Tennis Elbow. Whether these are acute, have been hanging around for a few weeks or problems that have just not gone away for months, we can assess them, give you an accurate diagnosis and implement a treatment and/or management plan. Some of the more common issues we come across include-
- Shoulder pain (rotator cuff strains/tears/bursitis)
- Headaches
- Frozen Shoulder
- Tennis/Golfers Elbow
- Pain referred into the hip and thigh
- Knee pain (Runner’s knee, ITB Syndrome, Medial knee pain)
- Shin pain
- Ankle Sprains and Strains
- Plantar Fascia (Heel/Foot) Pain
- Achilles Tendon Pain
We are happy to assess any problem and if it is not something we think physiotherapy can help you with we have a network of other health professionals we can refer you to. These include sports physicians, orthopaedic specialists, podiatrists, massage therapists and personal trainers. We can also send you for X-rays and ultrasound scans if we feel these are appropriate investigations.
